"Dopo anni abbiamo trovato la location ideale"
La catena sudamericana Vik Reatreats, guidata dal tycoon svedese Alexander Vik e dalla moglie Carrie, apre il suo primo art hotel europeo sotto la cupola del salotto buono. Sono stati ristrutturati completamente gli spazi degli ex Seven Stars e Townhouse all'angolo tra la Galleria e via SIlvio Pellico, sotto la supervisione dell'architetto uruguaiano Marcelo Daglio e dagi stessi proprietari.
Ottantanove stanze, di cui tredici suite, affidate all'estero di un centinaio di artisti internazionali. Esse sono distribuite su cinque piani e ciascuna customizzata da un artista. Sono circa cento gli artisti coinvolti nel progetto, affermati ed esordienti, provenienti da tutto il mondo, con numerosi italiani.
Tra gli artisti presenti, vi è anche lo spagnolo Felipe Cardeña, che sconfina sugli arredi e riveste ogni superficie disponibile con un patchwork di fiori e animali esotici dai colori vibranti.
