"After years, we have found the ideal location."
South American chain Vik Reatreats, led by Swedish tycoon Alexander Vik and his wife Carrie, opens its first European art hotel under the dome of the salotto buono. The spaces of the former Seven Stars and Townhouse on the corner of the Galleria and Via SIlvio Pellico have been completely renovated, under the supervision of Uruguayan architect Marcelo Daglio and the owners themselves.
Eighty-nine rooms, including thirteen suites, entrusted to a hundred international artists. They are distributed on five floors and each one is customized by an artist. There are about one hundred artists involved in the project, established and new, from all over the world, with many Italians.
Among the artists present, there is also the Spaniard Felipe Cardeña, who encroaches on the furnishings and covers every available surface with a patchwork of flowers and exotic animals in vibrant colors.
